SAT Programs

For many students the SAT is a test that is a requirement for admission into a college or university.  Great Lakes Educational Group will give you the tools that you need to succeed on the SAT.

Brief Description of the Great Lakes Educational Group SAT programs

11 Week SAT Program

Eleven 120 minute sessions.  This program is supplemented by a series of practice tests and 2 to 3 hours of homework per session.  In individualized tutoring sessions, students will learn powerful test taking strategies and develop the necessary math and verbal skills needed to perform well on the test.  Ideal for students looking for comprehensive SAT preparation.

5 Week SAT Program

Five 120 minute sessions.  This program includes the same elements as our 11 week program, only in a more condensed format and can be offered within a group setting.  Recommended for upper-level students or for students who have a limited amount of time to prepare for the test.

1 Week SAT Program

One 180 minute session.  This class offers a basic overview of the fundamentals and test taking strategies needed to perform well on the SAT.  Familiarizes students with the format of the SAT which makes the test less intimidating.

Course Materials

All materials associated with our test preparation programs are included.  Materials include an SAT course book, math flashcards, vocabulary flashcards, and real SAT tests.

Homework

Homework is an integral part of the program.  Typically, you are assigned about two hours of homework per session.  The homework gives you an opportunity to practice the skills and test taking strategies learned in the sessions.
